The Kansas Constitutional

Journalist Ian Brannan announces new YouTube channel

The Kansas Constitutional’s very own Ian Brannan has some exciting news to share. He has finally bit the bullet and started his own YouTube Channel.

“This is something people have suggested I do in the past, and it’s something I have thought about for years,” Brannan said. “I’ve just never been sure of what I would say or how I would go about it. I have always shared news through the written word, so YouTube will not just be a brand new platform, but a brand new way of communicating with my audience.”

Brannan also said the content will be different from what he covers at The Kansas Constitutional. Providing a list of what his new channel will and will not be.

What the Channel will NOT be…

  • A place where I go over all of my articles.

  • A place where I talk solely about Kansas and Kansas issues.

  • A place where I ignore Kansas and Kansas issues.

What the Channel will be…

  • A little cringey to start out, probably.

  • A place where I talk about social and political issues whether it be in Kansas, another state, or even another country.

  • A place where I react to videos that reflect society.

  • A place where I get to show a little bit more of who I am.

Brannan’s channel is called H0m0ontheRange, a name he said he chose after deciding he wanted to separate the content from his content on The Kansas Constitutional so he could speak on a broader array of subjects. He also said that it reflects his sort of humor and love for word play.

Brannan’s first video, published on June 15, goes over California Governor Gavin Newsom’s 28th Amendment proposal to get rid of the 2nd Amendment.
